No James Yap? No Joe Devance? No Allein Maliksi? No problem for San Mig Coffee.

With Andy Mark Barroca at the helm, the Super Coffee Mixers finally notched its first win in a double-overtime duel against Air21, 92-83 during the continuation of the 2013 PLDT-MyDSL PBA Philippine Cup.

Pingris scored 15 apiece, with the former going 6-of-6 from the field, and the latter grabbing 15 boards. Reavis and Pingris combined for 27 points, roughly 40 percent of the rebounds of San Mig Coffee. Second-overall pick Ian Sangalang was also solid, scoring 14 points and hauling 6 boards.

KG Canaleta, who forged the first double-overtime game in two years, scored 20 points, a point shy of top scorer Joseph Yeo. Yeo also dished out six dimes. Vic Manuel, who fouled out late in the first 5-minute extension, had 14 points across his name. Asi Taulava, who followed Manuel to the bench early in the second extension, only scored four points but grabbed 11 rebounds.

Barroca and Sangalang scored all 13 points of San Mig Coffee in the second overtime, as there was no legitimate center to defend the painted area. Returning-from-injury players PJ Simon and Mac Cardona, playing in a San Mig Coffee and Air21 uniform, respectively, contributed well for their respective teams, with Simon scoring 13 and dishing the pass to Alex Mallari that sent the game to overtime, and Cardona scoring also 13 markers.
